Steps
The Steps card on the Personal tab shows today's count against a 10,000-step goal. Open it for a day, week, month, or year view, your current and best streak, your best day, and a 30-day average. Everything is read live from Apple Health.
Setting it up
- Tap the Steps card on the Personal tab.
- Allow Progress to read steps from Apple Health.
- The overview fills with up to a year of history straight away.
What it does not do
- The goal is fixed at 10,000 steps. Goal setting is not built yet.
- There is no manual entry and no editing. Apple Health is the source, so fix a wrong day there.
- Steps are not synced to your account and never appear anywhere but on your phone. A reinstall simply reads them from Apple Health again.
Counted twice?
That happens when two apps write steps to Apple Health, for example your phone and a third-party tracker. Choose one source in the iPhone Health app under Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.
