Plans and calendar

The calendar holds the workouts you schedule, with reminders. A training plan is a multi-week schedule of workouts that, once started, lands on that same calendar. The Plan Maker builds progression plans for you: pick a move or a workout, choose how each exercise should get harder week by week, and it generates every week of the plan; you then start it to put it on your calendar. Plans sync to your account.

The calendar

Open the calendar from Home. Schedule any workout from your library on a day, with an optional time and reminder, and reschedule by moving it. Today's planned workout also sits at the top of Home. Finishing the session ticks it off; nothing is marked done by hand.

Training plans

A plan is a grid of weeks and day slots, each slot holding a workout. A plan owns copies of its workouts, so editing a workout in your library never changes a plan, and editing a plan workout applies to every slot that uses it. If one day should differ, duplicate the workout and change the copy.

Start plan puts every session on your calendar from the start date, with one reminder time for the whole plan (or none). Stop plan removes the upcoming sessions and reminders and keeps what you trained. Restart plan lays it out again.

Your plan's card on Home shows the week you are in and how much of this week is done.

The Plan Maker

The Plan Maker creates a progression plan in a few steps:

  1. Progress a move (one exercise, on its own) or Progress a workout (one of your workouts, every exercise in it).
  2. Pick the move or workout. Only workouts from your library are offered.
  3. Review the plan: its name, the number of weeks (2 to 26) and sessions per week (1 to 3), and the progression per exercise. Progress proposes one based on the exercise type: more weight for weighted moves, more reps for bodyweight, longer time for holds, the next rung for moves on a ladder. You can change it to more sets, quicker time, or no progression at all, and set the step size. Presets such as "Linear strength: +2.5 kg per week" fill the form.
  4. Choose Fixed or Gated (Gated is the default).

- Fixed: every week is set up front. A bad week does not stall the schedule. - Gated: the full calendar is visible, but each new week is decided by the last one. Complete all working sets and the step up stands; otherwise the week repeats at the same level. Weeks you have trained are never rewritten. For ladder moves, the next rung comes when you reach the top of the rep range on every working set.

  1. Create. Every week of the plan is generated at once and the plan opens, but it is not on your calendar yet: tap Start plan to pick a start date and reminder, and the sessions appear on your calendar.

Move down a rung regenerates next week one step easier when a rung is too hard. Ladder complete marks a plan that has reached the top rung.

Sport pages list training programs; tapping one opens the Plan Maker with that program's weeks and sessions filled in. The AI coach can also propose a plan, which you accept into the same plan system.

Where your data lives

Plans, their workouts, your calendar and your progression state are stored on your phone and sync to your account, so a reinstall brings them back. Which finished session ticked off which planned day is kept on the phone it happened on for now, so after a reinstall or on a second phone a past planned day may not show as done.

What it does not do

The Plan Maker does not build a workout around a move (no automatic warmup or accessories). There is no automatic deload. Progression is rule-based: it never guesses.

Templates

Apply a template sets the same progression on every exercise it fits:

  • Linear strength: +2.5 kg per week
  • Rep builder: +1 rep per week
  • Volume block: +1 set every 2 weeks
  • Longer holds: +5 seconds per week
  • Quicker work: −5 seconds per week
  • Climb the ladder: next rung when earned
